Access via Google OAuth 2.0

SWPanel allows users to authenticate and access the platform through the Google OAuth 2.0 authentication system. This access method is optional and is only used when the user expressly chooses to sign in with their Google account.

Information collected

When the user uses access via Google OAuth 2.0, SWPanel may access only the basic Google account information authorized by the user, which may include:

• Email address
• Display name or profile name
• Unique user identifier provided by Google
• Profile image (if available)

SWPanel does not request or access email content, contacts, Google Drive files, calendars, or any other sensitive Google account information.

Use of information

The information obtained through Google OAuth 2.0 is used exclusively to:

• Verify the user’s identity
• Create or associate the user account within SWPanel
• Allow secure access to the platform
• Manage the user session

The data obtained is not used for advertising, commercial, or external marketing purposes, nor for profiling unrelated to the operation of the service.

Information sharing

SWPanel does not share data obtained through Google OAuth 2.0 with third parties, except in the following cases:

• When strictly necessary for the technical operation of the service (for example, technology infrastructure providers).
• When required by law or by a competent authority.

Under no circumstances is Google data sold or transferred for commercial purposes.

Storage and security

Data associated with access via Google OAuth 2.0 is stored in secure systems, applying appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration.

SWPanel does not store Google account passwords or Google access credentials. Authentication is performed using secure tokens managed by Google’s OAuth system.

Data retention

Data obtained through Google OAuth 2.0 is retained while the user’s account remains active in SWPanel or as long as necessary to comply with legal or contractual obligations.

Once the account is deleted, the associated data will be securely deleted or anonymized, unless applicable regulations require its retention for a specific period.

Data deletion and user rights

The user may request at any time:

• Deletion of their SWPanel account
• Removal of personal data associated with their Google access
• Information about stored data

Requests can be made through the contact channels indicated in this Privacy Policy and will be handled within legally established timeframes.

Compliance with Google policies

SWPanel complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the “Limited Use” requirements. Data obtained through Google OAuth 2.0 is used solely to provide the core functionality of the application.

Google data is not used to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models without the user’s explicit consent, where applicable.

Changes to this provision

SWPanel may update this section to adapt to regulatory, technical, or Google requirement changes. Any modifications will be published together with the updated Privacy Policy.
