A mail alias is a mail account that redirects all incoming mail to any other account. An alias can have one or more recipients. The mail alias does not take up space as it does not store the mail, it simply forwards it to another one/s.
To create a mail alias, go to the hosting service where you want to create it from the "Active services tree", or you can use the general search engine of the SWPanel to find it:
Once inside the Dashboard of the service, you must go to "Service management" → "Mail management" from the blue side menu:
Once in the "Manage your service's mail management" menu, click on the "Mail Aliases" tab and then on the blue "Create Alias" button, located on the top right hand side:
In this section you must enter the name of the "Alias" account to which the e-mails will be sent and the account(s) you want to receive them. Remember that you must press the "create" button to finish the process.
Once the alias has been created, all mail sent to it will be received by the account/s that have been configured as recipients.
