ISPConfig is a widely used open source hosting control panel for Linux, under BSD license, which allows you to manage websites, email addresses, MySQL and MariaDB databases, FTP accounts and DNS records. Its administration is done through a web-based interface, with 4 login levels: administrator, reseller, client and email user, each with a different set of permissions.
Before we start with the tutorial, don't you have a Linux Ubuntu 22.04 Cloud server on which you can install your ISPConfig 3 with Nginx? Don't worry! With just one click, you can easily deploy it with SW Hosting.

Before installing any new software on Ubuntu, remember to always upgrade the system to have the latest versions of the software packages.
The system upgrade process and the installation of ISPconfig must be done with the root user. To do this you must run the commands:
sudo -s
apt update && apt upgrade -y
To install ISPConfig 3, you must download and run the installation script by executing this command:
wget -O - https://get.ispconfig.org | sh -s -- --use-nginx --use-ftp-ports=40110-40210 --unattended-upgrades)
You will receive the following result and you must enter "yes " to start the ISPConfig installation:
WARNING! This script will reconfigure your entire server!
